Welcome to my website! Check out the various pages here to learn more about me. If you're looking for my art and commissions website, a link to that can be found on the "The Corkboard" page. Thanks for taking the time to check me out!

Featured links, web buttons, and more! I'll try and occasionally update this with some new stuff every now and then if I can find something worthwhile to add. (I might be adding a few sites of my own soon...?) In the meantime, happy web surfing!

My Sites

(The link to my "main" Bluesky is linked on my art website. The one linked on this page is my more talkative account. Feel free to follow me on either/or!)

My Buttons

(Use these to link back to this site by saving
the image file of the button you want and upload it
to your own site. Set it to open a link to mush64.carrd.co
when clicked on. If you want the button link to open in a
new tab when activated, type "||blank" after the URL you
set to activate when the image is clicked. The same
process applies to linking anyone else's buttons to a
website by using the corresponding URLs and button
images. If you ever want to make your own website button,
the average image size is 88 x 31 pixels, though it can be
larger or smaller if you want it to be.)

about me

Heya, I'm Mush! Here's some basic things to know about me!

  • I'm Christian! My favorite verse is 2nd Timothy 1:7.

  • Black and proud!!! 🙏🏽

  • Pronouns are He/They!

  • I'm an artist! I mostly do fan art, but I've recently started to develop ideas for my own concepts and worldbuilding. (If you want to visit my art website, there's a link to it on "The Corkboard" page.)

  • I like to spend a lot of time discussing, analyzing, or just gushing about my specific interests, either through my personal isolated ramblings or talking with others. (More info on those on the "Interests" page.)

  • I'm currently most active on Bluesky! (Check out "The Corkboard" page for a link to it and my other platforms!)

  • I'm an adult, also.

  • If we're mutuals on anything and you want to add me on Discord, DM me and I'll give you my tag.

HEADS UP!

(before you follow)

- Just as a general warning I don't tend to TW or CW stuff often. Not because I'm against their usage though, just because I tend to talk about certain topics at a long length a lot of the time. I'll still try to do them for some posts that might be more explicit that require more discretion, like excessively loud noises, flashing, and blood/gore.- If you're ok with pedophilia/"M.A.P.S", general bigotry, harassment etc., leave. That should be obvious to most people, but some people have no common sense.- cryptocurrency/ai weirdos blocked on sight- I tend to mute/block people who's accounts revolve around stuff that annoys me. Or people that annoy me. It's not always personal though.

Creative Resources

Here are some tools that I use for my creative projects. Most of these are free or pretty cheap to get! (bit outdated as of 9/23/2024. hopefully will have the time to redo this page soon!)

clip studio paint ex

(The main art program I use for both illustration AND my graphic design work! I used to use Clip Studio Paint PRO instead, which is 50 dollars USD, but on sale it goes for an even lower price (around 20 dollars!). EX adds animation and comic making features, but Pro is really great too! Upgrading from Pro to EX on sale is a good move if you want to animate. If you dislike how boxed-in and pricy Photoshop and Illustrator are, this is a fantastic alternative.)

4K Video Downloader

(Free video and audio ripping software. I mostly use it to download stuff from Youtube but it can rip videos or audio from most other major sites: Soundcloud, Tumblr, Vimeo, Twitch etc. You can only go up to actual 4K and 8K if you pay for an upgraded plan, but even without paying for it its pretty good. Doesn't support Twitter, but twittervideodownloader.com can get you covered on that pretty well too.)

Mario Paint

(Occasionally make art for fun with it. Its a surprisingly versatile medium when you know what it can do and I have a blast with it. You CAN emulate it with the right setup, but for me this is one of those games that feels so right on original hardware and on a CRT. Its so fun!!!)

Davinci Resolve

(Free editing software. Might not have as much as many features as some of the paid programs out there but it's still fairly in-depth, and you CAN upgrade if you want to. I use it for editing videos or highlights, making shitposts, YTPMVs, and mashups! It can do a lot even with the limitations, but if you want to upgrade to better software eventually this is still a good starting point.)

CloudConvert

(If you're a fellow member of the "I hate downloading WEBP. files thinking they're normal JPGs or PNGs" club like I am, this is a life saver. This is probably the best free file conversion site out there. It can convert a lot of file types other than audio/video/image, too. Highly recommended.)

ezgif.com

(Site with lots of GIF editing and making options. Its free. Use it.)

Carrd

(Made this and my art site with it! It's pretty straightforward if you're like me and don't have much coding knowhow. It's free, but upgrading to a paid plan gets you more features and an infinite element limit. There are multiple tiers, but the cheapest one is good if you're mostly satisfied with the base features and just need more element space.)

Reaper

(Only JUST started using this one, but I'm definitely gonna start using this as a music program. Using sforzando, a free soundfont player plugin, this automatically solved all my woes about not being able to afford FL Studio, and from what I can tell seems to be a fantastic alternative. Fairly beginner friendly too, I've hardly used music software , let alone one as in-depth as this but it's pretty simple to learn the basics and just start making stuff! Here's a quick video tutorial I watched before I hopped into it. It's pretty easy to digest, just rewatch a section if there's something you forget or don't completely understand. There's a 60 day free trial before you have to pay, and it's only $60 bucks to purchase! Gonna try my hand at making a few things with it and revise this writing with more in-depth thoughts when I get a hold on it, but the low price, piano roll, and even native video file support [AKA, Easier YTPMV Making] gives it a pretty strong first impression out of the gate.)
